Aeternum Vale

Aeternum Vale is a weird, atmospheric Metroidvania set in a cryptic, handcrafted pixel-art open world full of dangers, mysteries, and odd characters. Originally funded on Kickstarter, it emphasizes free-form exploration and discovery over hand-holding.

Players uncover secrets, unlock new traversal abilities, and slowly piece together the strange lore of its interconnected world. It launched in Early Access on Steam in 2022.
