Akatori

Akatori is a hand-drawn pixel-art Metroidvania developed by Anithing and published by Untold Tales. Players control Mako, who wields a magical staff whose evolving techniques double as both combat abilities and traversal tools.

As she explores vivid, colorful worlds and battles monsters to stop the ravaging amber storms, new staff powers open previously blocked paths in classic ability-gated fashion. It released in 2026 on PC and consoles.
