Alruna and the Necro-Industrialists

Alruna and the Necro-Industrialists is a compact, high-density Metroidvania by Swedish studio Neckbolt, and the first Alruna adventure (preceding Alruna: End of History). Its design centers on sequence-breaking — deliberately playing areas and upgrades out of order.

Rather than a sprawling map, it packs a dense, tightly interconnected world into a short, highly replayable experience that rewards experimentation and clever routing. It released in 2024 on PC via Steam.
