Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread

Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread is a Metroidvania by Allods Team Arcade, inspired by the popcorn thrills of 1980s action movies. Players explore a tropical island to stop the villainous Dr. Cread, swapping on the fly between four playable heroes — all-American Jeff, the deadly Shura, cyborg Scotsman Galahad and chakram-wielding Vortex — each with unique weapons and traversal abilities.

The character-swapping drives both combat and exploration, gating areas behind each hero's skills, all delivered with tongue-in-cheek humor. It released in 2022.
