Ebenezer and the Invisible World

Ebenezer and the Invisible World is a story-rich 2D Metroidvania developed by Orbit Studio and published by Play on Worlds, with hand-drawn art in a Victorian-fantasy style. Set after the events of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, it casts players as a reformed Ebenezer Scrooge, recruited by a ghost to protect the city from a greedy industrialist.

Metroidvania powers are reimagined as spirits chained to the mortal world who aid Ebenezer, granting new traversal and combat abilities. It released in 2023 across PC and consoles.
