Kingdom Shell

Kingdom Shell is an atmospheric fairy-tale Metroidvania by solo developer Cup of Pixels, published by Top Hat Studios. Set in a storybook world, players explore the local lands to repel an invasion of nightmarish creatures and uncover the kingdom's mysteries.

It combines tight, responsive combat with ability-gated exploration and a hand-crafted pixel-art aesthetic, released in 2023.
