Noreya: The Gold Project

Noreya: The Gold Project is a dark-fantasy pixel-art Metroidvania by French studio Dreamirl, funded by a successful Kickstarter. Its defining hook is a branching allegiance: players choose to follow the Gods of Light or succumb to the corrupting lure of Gold, and that choice physically reshapes the interconnected world — altering available paths and abilities.

The result is fast, demanding, exploration-driven play with meaningful divergence between routes. The definitive version released on PC in 2024, with console versions following.
