Öoo

Öoo is an inventive puzzle-platformer Metroidvania by solo developer Nama Takahashi in which you control a caterpillar that can plant and detonate bombs. Rather than fighting, you use explosions creatively to launch yourself around the world, break obstacles, and reach new areas.

Its interconnected map, ability-driven traversal, and addictive speedrunning potential drew comparisons to Animal Well. Released in 2025, it became a surprise Steam hit with an overwhelmingly positive reception.
