The Swapper

The Swapper is an atmospheric, story-driven puzzle Metroidvania developed by Facepalm Games and published by Curve Digital. Set aboard an eerie, seemingly abandoned space station rendered with a striking hand-crafted clay aesthetic, it follows a lone scout unraveling an unsettling mystery.

Progress through the interconnected station is gated by the Swapper — a device that creates clones and transfers consciousness between them — turning traversal into a series of brain-bending spatial puzzles wrapped in lonely sci-fi dread. It released in 2013 to critical acclaim.
