Twilight Monk

Twilight Monk is a hand-drawn dark-fantasy action-RPG with Metroidvania structure, conceived and directed by veteran game artist Trent Kaniuga and developed by his California studio Aquatic Moon. Players explore intricately designed dungeons linked across a vast overworld spanning multiple continents, blending kung-fu-inspired combat with RPG leveling and a richly illustrated, story-driven world.

Published by Gravity Game Arise, it launched in March 2025 for PC and Nintendo Switch, drawing on Kaniuga's decades of concept-art work to give its melancholic world a distinctive painted look.
