Well Dweller

Well Dweller is a dark, twisted fairy-tale Metroidvania from developer Kyle Thompson — the creator of Crypt Custodian and Islets — published by Top Hat Studios. Players control Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick, on a quest to burn the wicked queen and rescue his family.

Set in a wretched, rotted kingdom full of charming and grotesque characters, it pairs ability-gated exploration with puzzles and boss battles as new powers expand the map. It launches September 22, 2026, on PC and consoles.
